What's in this box:

This box provides you with a mix of our free range and organic meats, every box is different because in the real world a cow isn't all steak and a chicken isn't all breast so therefore every box can't be the same.

We produce all our own meat and use the whole animal to create a range of cuts. You'll always receive a mix of joints, premium cuts and quick and slow cooking cuts.

We can't promise exactly what you'll get but we can promise it will taste great and give you great value. Guaranteed!

• 1 x Medium organic chicken or roasting joint - Great for a meal and some leftovers for sandwiches
  
• 1 x 500g Pack of organic beef, organic lamb or rare-breed pork mince - A good all round staple perfect for lots of different recipes.
  
• 1 x Pack of dry-cured bacon - Made with a traditional dry cure, no water just tasty bacon from our free range, outdoor reared and rare breed pigs.
• 4 x Rare Breed Pork, Organic Lamb or Organic Beef Steaks - Premium cuts great for grilling, frying or barbecuing
  
• 2 x Seasonal Cuts - e.g organic lamb chops, organic chicken breasts
• 1 x Pack of Pork Sausages - Freshly made with our rare-breed pork, no additives or preservatives just fresh pork mince and natural ingredients. One of our most popular products we have a range of recipes that vary with seasonal ingredients.
• 1 x Traditional Cut - Something from the 'fifth quarter'. Obscure things like pig's cheek or beef skirt that you might not normally get to try and that the supermarkets don't sell. It's a bit different but don't worry there'll be cooking suggestions and nothing too Heston Blumenthal.

As an example a box in June contained:

One 2kg chicken, One 500g pack of organic beef mince, One pack of back bacon, Two pork loin steaks, Four beef frying steaks, One pack of cumberland sausages, A beef brisket joint and two gammon steaks!

Each box comes with a Foodie Factfile' with information all about the meat you'll be cooking.

We suggest cooking times, tips and recipes and also give you interesting facts and news about the animals, our meat and our farm so that you know all about the food you're eating.

Forget country of origin, we can tell you field of origin!

Farm Walks

It's not in the box as such but we'll keep you up to date with the latest farm events so that hopefully you can come and visit us to learn more about the food you eat. For free!

Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to most Leeds postcodes, please see our Delivery page for more information.

How long will the meat keep?
All our meat is packed and labelled with use by dates. All the meat is freshly packed on the day of delivery and can be frozen for up to 6 months. Some items like our sausages and burgers have a relatively short shelf-life compared to the ones in the supermarket as they're made with just meat and no nasty preservatives.

Can I order a specific cut of meat?
At the moment we're only offering set meat boxes as this is a new service which we're trialling. We hope in future to be able to offer a 'build your own box' full online store. If there's a specific cut you would like please mention it in the 'additional comments' section when ordering and we'll do our best to provide it. Likewise if there's something you would like leaving out of your box, for example if you don't eat pork, let us know and we'll replace the items with another cut of equal or greater value.

We've tried to make a varied mix of meat boxes to suit your household. If none of our meat boxes tick the right boxes for you please get in touch with your suggestions of what you think we should include. If it's do-able we'll create the box and put it on the website for you and others to purchase. We'll even name it after you!
